Join us for the best after-school program EVER! This 12-week after-school program will focus on five key pillars: Leadership, entrepreneurship, community service, technology and building confidence.

Our future leaders will spend time together being brave and learning new things about empathetic leadership, building businesses, building strong communities, and creating through technology.

And, of course, they'll be building their confidence each step of the way.

​

Our future leaders will meet with city officials and local politicians to see how our government functions. They'll spend time with local entrepreneurs and business leaders to learn more about starting and growing successful businesses. They'll even explore disciplines like photography and podcasting and learn the art of story-telling through visual and audio mediums!

Last but not least, they'll volunteer during our capstone project in town to give back to our community and leave a lasting impression of impact and leadership.

There will be two cohorts broken down as follows:

​

Grades 2-5 will meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 4-6 pm

Grades 6-8 will meet every Wednesday and Friday from 4-6 pm

​

Transportation is not provided. Students must have reliable transportation to and from Small Town Startup's location at 101 5th Avenue, Springfield, Tennessee.

​

10 students will be allowed in each cohort. It is first come, first serve. A snack and water bottles are provided during each session. Temperatures will be checked prior to each meeting. 

​

The cost is $150 per student, per month for three months. You will be invoiced monthly. Students are expected to participate all three months upon signing up.

​

The after-school program will begin Tuesday, September 1, 2020 and end on Friday, November 20, 2020.
